The congregation approved a budget for 2009-10 with a substantial deficit of about $8000. Our goal is to review the budget situation by December. In order to do this, we need pledges from all members. If you have not sent in your pledge card yet, please do so soon so we can make plans for the operating budget. If you have already made a pledge, please keep the contributions coming in. We usually have a shortfall of pledge income at the beginning of the year and your contributions now will be helpful.

On the income front, we have lost two of our tenants, the Childcare Learning Center and the Encounter

Church, but they are being replaced with new tenants so it is expected to be budget neutral. We received

additional donations of $5000 in the summer and also some memorial funds to be used for music. The sound system is installed after the congregation approved the use of surplus funds from the 2009-10 budget and additional private contributions.
